PersonalityPath is built with your privacy as a top priority. All your personality test results, saved careers, and preferences are stored locally in your browser using IndexedDB technology.

We do not have servers storing your personal data. Your information never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to share results via URL.

What We Collect

  • Analytics: We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to understand how visitors use our site (page views, session duration, referral sources). This data is anonymized and does not include personally identifiable information.
  • No Cookies for Tracking: We do not use cookies to track your behavior across websites.
  • No Account Registration: We don't require you to create an account or provide personal information.

Local Storage

Your browser's IndexedDB stores:

  • Personality test results (MBTI, Enneagram, Big Five)
  • Test-taking progress (so you can resume interrupted tests)
  • Saved career matches and favorites
  • User preferences and settings

You can clear this data at any time through your browser settings or our Dashboard page.

Sharing Results

When you use the "Share Results" feature, we encode your test results into a URL. This allows you to share your personality type with others. No data is stored on our servers—the results are encoded directly in the URL itself.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Ahrefs Web Analytics: For anonymized usage statistics
  • Google Fonts: To load the Inter font family

Your Rights

Since all data is stored locally in your browser, you have complete control:

  • Access: View all your data in the Dashboard
  • Export: Download your data as JSON
  • Delete: Clear all history and data anytime
